  • Relational Psychotherapy for Individuals

Traditional talk therapy is appropriate for teenagers and adults. Some school-aged children may also benefit from traditional talk therapy as well, depending on their maturity, language skills, and developmental level. Talk therapy is a process of increasing insight, exploring thoughts and feelings, revisiting past or current experiences, identifying coping skills, and embracing oneself in your entirety. Relational psychotherapy, a form of talk therapy, involves a dialogue between client and therapist, wherein the therapist facilitates an environment in which the individual can explore, enhance, and build relational health through interventions and in the therapeutic relationship in and of itself. In this space the therapist may provide psychoeducation and teach tools to improve mental, emotional, and relational health, but ultimately healing takes place as the individual finds their own answers within themselves. Individual sessions (50 minutes) are $225 for a licensed therapist, $150 for a senior registered associate therapist, and $100 for a registered associate therapist.

  • Family Therapy

Family therapy is a highly effective process for reducing conflict at home, decreasing acting out or attention seeking behaviors in children or teenagers, and reinstating both physical and emotional intimacy for couples. Family therapy involves two or more members of the family, though in some cases it may be best practice for the entire family to attend and participate in treatment. By providing an opportunity for couples or families to have a safe place to discuss difficulties and explore new ways of relating to one another, the therapist joins with the family to resolve past or current conflict and develop new skills to meet each others’ needs more effectively. Family therapy sessions (75 minutes) are $275 for a licensed therapist, $175 for a senior registered associate therapist, and $120 for a registered associate therapist.

  • Group Psychotherapy

Group therapy facilitates interpersonal change through experiential opportunities to meaningfully connect with others in a safe space. By relating to others in group therapy, you learn more about yourself, your needs, and your worth. Group also allows space to cultivate self-compassion by recognizing the common humanity in our difficulties, and finding supportive others to reinforce our need for community and belonging. Group availability, schedule, and fees provided upon request.
